February Reading Wrap-Up | 2024

February was a bit of a slow reading month for me. Reading so much fantasy in January put me in a small reading slump, so I reread a couple of books before jumping into some new ones mid-month. I ended up reading a total of 6 books!

From Blood and Ash (Blood and Ash #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Reread)

After finishing House of Flame and Shadow at the end of January, my brain literally could not focus on anything. When that happens I normally listen to a book that I’ve already read, so I decided to start the Blood and Ash series over! I think I enjoyed this one even more the second time around.

Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Blood and Ash #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Reread)

This one is also a reread! I also plan on rereading the third one sometime soon so I can finally read the fourth book in the series!

Butcher & Blackbird by Brynne Weaver

This one is definitely not for everyone (check content warnings on Storygraph), but I LOVED it! The audiobook was fantastic, and I spend through it in a single day!

Done and Dusted (Rebel Blue Ranch #1) by Lyla Sage

After all of the fantasy that I’ve been reading, I decided to pick up a romance. Everyone seems to be in their cowboy romance era, so I wanted to join in! I’m a Penguin Random House AudioInfluencer, and through their services I can get audiobooks for free to review! This was the first one I chose, and I loved it! I also finished this one in less than a day!

Swift and Saddled (Rebel Blue Ranch #2) by Lyla Sage

The Penguin Random House AudioInfluencer also had the second book available as an ALC! I enjoyed this one even more than the first one in the series, and I can’t wait to read the third one when it comes out at the end of the year!

The Clinic by Cate Quinn

This was the book club pick from the Sleep When I’m Dead Book Club that I helped co-host this month! This is my first book from this author, but I already have another one on my TBR! Check out this post for links to the discussion and author interview!
